Cookie Policy
Last updated: 28 August 2026
This page explains what cookies and similar browser-storage technologies FreakFits uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

01 What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device to remember information between visits or
requests. We also use a couple of related browser-storage technologies — localStorage and
sessionStorage — which work similarly but are only ever readable by our own site, not sent with
every request the way a cookie is. Where this policy says "cookies," it covers both, unless we say
otherwise.
02 Cookies & storage we use
| Name / type | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Authentication session cookie | Essential | Keeps you securely signed in. Stored as HttpOnly and Secure, meaning it can't be read by page scripts — this protects it from theft via cross-site scripting. | Until logout or expiry |
| Cart & coupon (local storage) | Essential | Remembers what's in your cart and any applied coupon so it's still there if you leave and come back, or syncs to your account cart if you're logged in. | Until cleared or cart is emptied |
| Cookie preference choice | Essential | Remembers the choice you make on our Cookie Preferences page, so we don't ask you again on every visit. | Until changed |
| Analytics cookies | Optional | We don't currently run third-party analytics or advertising cookies on FreakFits. If that changes in the future, this table — and the toggle on our Preferences page — will be updated first, and it will remain off by default until you opt in. | — |
03 Third-party cookies
When you check out, our payment partner Razorpay may set its own cookies within its hosted payment interface to process your transaction securely and prevent fraud. These are governed by Razorpay's own privacy and cookie practices, not ours. We don't control third-party cookies and recommend checking the relevant provider's policy if you want more detail.
04 Managing your preferences
Essential cookies can't be switched off, since the store (login, cart, checkout security) won't function without them. Where a cookie or storage item is optional, you can control it from our dedicated preferences page.
Manage Cookie Preferences05 Controlling cookies via your browser
Most browsers let you view, delete, and block cookies through their settings. Because essential cookies are required for the site to function, blocking them may prevent you from logging in, checking out, or using the cart. Clearing your browser's local storage will also empty a guest cart that isn't tied to a logged-in account.
06 Changes to this policy
We'll update this page if the cookies and storage we use change — for example, if we introduce analytics or marketing tools in the future. We'll update the "Last updated" date whenever we do.
